It happened in Alaska, St. Lucia, and Dominque...In Alaska, they hired a fishing boat to track the ship down and they had to climb aboard via a rope later.....don't know what happend to the others...charter a plane I suppose...JUST DON'T COME BACK TO THE SHIP LATE....Nuff said:-)...

As for the breakfest. We just order room service the night before if we are doing an early tour. It's free.

There is a boat service on St.Thomas that makes a good part of their living by taking passengers to the ship after it has sailed.

I have seen boats pull up along the ship quite a few times to let passengers on that missed the ship. The most recent was after leaving Cozumel. The ship came to a virtual stop to let them on. I bet they paid a lot for that boat ride.

SuzyD, the water is fantastic. It is better than bottled water. You could bring a couple of bottles and refill them for shore excursions.

I have seen people left in many islands, running towards the ship, waving frantically, and watching us as we sail. I have also seen many people bidding us a bon voyage from the shore as we sail past, in Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, and some of the islands. It's a great thing to watch, so be out on your balcony or up on deck for the sail aways.

Leaving Miami you will want to be on deck...There are some really nice homes to see, and lots of people waving, blowing kisses and every so often you get a full moon job....and lots of boats honking at the ship....Happy Cruising..
