I know there are certain rules for packing on flights but I don't know if they pertain to carry-ons for the cruise, such as:
Medicines and shampoos can they be carried on the cruise in original containers over 3 oz sizes?
Can I carry on manicure scissors?
Can ziplock bags be the larger sizes filled with cosmetics...?
I would assume they are ok but definately want to check before I pack up everything.

The only things the cruise line is worried about is weapons, explosives, and things like that. They have no limits as to liquid amounts and such. The TSA rules are for air travel only.
