Not only try the buffet ricks, but you can order room service as well. The only reason I don't come back 10-20 pounds heavier is because I don't use the elevators. They do have a gym on board, but I prefer to walk through it and admire all the committed people in it

Carnival has a very good BLT on the room service menu.

Thanks. Things have changed since our last cruise. Looks like we'll be fine at the late seating (But from the sound of it, we'll come home 30 pounds heavier).

Another option - the pizza stand also serves caesar salad (you have to ask for it). That would be enough to tide you over to the late seating and you could simply skip the salad course if you choose. Certainly a low-fat alternative.

The pizza stand will also make a calzone for you if you ask. It takes 20 minutes. So you get the salad, and then when you are done the calzone is almost ready.

ricks, You can try to get your seating changed to the early. They will have a time listed in the Capers to make requests. Or just go to the dining room asap after boarding and find the Maitre'D. I can vouch for the BLT that Dave mentioned from room service, the roast beef and brie is awesome too. I have had some pretty good meals in the casual restaurant as well.

I'm thinking we'll keep the late seating. I'm liking this early dinner and late dinner thing. Thanks for the info.

On most cruises the traditional late seating is the first to fill up. I can't understand why people don't mind finishing a big diner at 10 PM but it much to late for us Florida retiree's.

We did late, because you didn't have to rush back from excursions to get ready. That's why I like Personal Choice, you don't have to rush and then you don't have to wait until 8:30 to be seated. When we did late, I'd have to stay up late in the casino
