weather for the week on 10-15

i looked at a weather website for nassau, for next weeks, its says scattered showers...does any one know if this is usually right ? also how do you know if they are going to change your itenirary based on weather? has this hppen to anyone who been to the bahamas recently???

They're not going to change the intinerary for scattered showers. It rains almost every day in the Caribbean. It usually lasts 15-30 minutes and then is gone. It's impossible to predict the weather, but scattered showers is almost always in the forecast. If they would have to change itineraries for any reason, they would let you know on board if it isn't a long time in advance of your cruise. Relax, have a wonderful time, you will see the sun and it will be warm!

The only itinerary change you may have to worry about is CocoCay. If it is thunderstorms then it is too risky for the tenders to go back and forth, so you may end up having a day at sea instead. I was on the Majesty during the week of October 1, and it was torrential rain for the first hour or so after we arrived in Nassau then was gone. We were fortunate that we had great weather after that throughout the cruise.
