Several Questions-1)We want to take our two sons on a cruise, ages 7 and 10. Very well behaved, but we want them to have a great time-will there be enough for them to do on this ship?
2) Several folks have mentioned that food is medicocre, still the case?
3) Who is currently the captain, as it appears the singing captain has left?
4)Are there fewer nights of entertainment/activities on a repositioning cruise?

While not as expansive as the Voyager class ships, the Radiance has a very comprehensive Adventure Ocean program and the children's area is quite nice. They should have plenty to do to keep themselves busy.

I found the food to be quite good in the dining room, mediocre in the buffet area.

Can't answer the Captain question, but as for entertainment - there are usually more entertainment and activities scheduled on a repositioning cruise. You will find on most cruises, the days at sea are the ones filled with the most shipboard activities/entertainment.

We took our 14 & 16 year old on a 4-day repositioning on a Princess, and they had a blast! We only saw them in passing... us going to the buffet, they going to the pizzeria...us going to the cabaret show, they going to the stand-up commedien.... us going to the stand-up commedien, they going to the cabaret show... us going to the hottub, they going to the basketball court. get the idea??...there definately is lots to do for all! Have a great time!

Thanks for your help. My husband & I just did a November sailing to Mexico with Princess & loved it. Hope we will say the same for our RCL experience with the kids!
