Voyage class 'extras' what to do?

I mean as far as food and stuff that cost extra...what is worth it? We've been on 7 cruises, two RCCL, but this is our first Voyager class one.

I think both Chops and Portofino are well worth the extra money and if you like a really good milkshake - splurge for lunch at Johnny Rockets.

I would second Suzi's comments. Chops is an excellent dining venue and you should really give it a try.

We are repeat sailers so we get a free cover charge once to JR's.

I am more of an Italian girl than steak so Portofolio's might be a better choice for me...

One question:

At dinner do they serve French Onion Soup? Or is that just in the extra charge restuarants?

I know it was offered at least once in the main dining room. If it is something you would like more frequently - establish a rapport with your waiter (or the head waiter) and let them know how appreciative you would be if it would be possible to have it served to you more often. You will be amazed at what a small monetary token of your appreciation, along with a big smile and persuasive appeal will have on your request. (The tip is just added insurance, but I have usually found that a positive and friendly request will be honored by the wait staff whenever possible.)

I have a question about the restaurant fees. How much are they ? I know alcohol would be extra but is it a set fee for that restaurant and all food would be included or is it so much for what you order ? We are on The Mariner .

I know this one. $20... and yes... as much as you want. They've said that over on the criuse-crictic board.
