the norovirus as got on the ship. the symptoms include vomiting, and diareaha(sp). Make sure you have plenty of antibacteiral soap, wash ahnds b4 meals, and stay out of the hot tubs..

131 passengers out of 2261 got sick. That means over 2000 people didn't get sick. Just be sure to wash your hands regularly and be careful shaking hands, etc... with other people. Because this does happen occasionally the cruise lines are prepared for it and know how to control the spread of the virus.
We're leaving on this ship Thursday 3/16 and I'm not worried at all.

I know two people who were on this cruise; one took ill, and the other's spouse took ill.

One of them noted that she saw another passenger drop a set of tongs on the floor at the buffet and attempt to put it back into the food. She didn't succeed, as other pax stopped her. Just one example of how customers are often to blame for unsanitary conditions, and how this can happen anywhere. This is one reason I avoid buffets whenever possible, or limit my choices to only those served by crew members.

Handwashing is the best defense, but must be done regularly.

My boyfriend and I are going on Grandeur of the Seas on April 29th. We heard about this and thought, GREAT! But, now we know they will clean the ship even MORE, so we're not too concerned about it. We are quite excited! 45 more days!!!
