What cruise line should we take???

Hi everyone,
We need your help. 11 of us would like to take a cruise probably in July or August of 2003. We would like to go the Caribbean or Mexico. The ages range from 16-80. We don't know which cruise line to choose from. I have read several reviews for every cruise and am still undecided. We would like a great deal but a great cruise at the same time. We love great food, good entertainment, clean rooms, good service, and plenty to do for all age groups. This is my families first cruise and I would like to make sure we choose the right one for all of us.
We would also like to know where and how to get the best deal for a cruise? Is there a certain time to get the better deals? If you would like to recommend someone or a company, please email us at Todjen@charter.net. We would appreciate it.

We just returned from the Grandeur of the Seas Panama Canal Cruise and it was great. Very good food and generous casino for some people. average age this cruise probably around 40-50 years old -- a number of young and older couples and of course lots of middle age people. Not many children as most are in school this time of year. Great weather as well.. Stops included Puerto Limon and Caldera, Costa Rica -- Cozamel, Acapolco, and Cabo San Lucas m Mexico..

Last year in February went on Carnival Paradise - non-smoking ship -- it was great too -- did the southern Caribbean - St Thomas, St Lucia, St Maarten, Barbados and Martanique -- very few children again because of the school year. -- average age again in 40 - 50 years of age. Slightly cleaner ship than Grandeur only because of ships age.

Food on both ships very good -- good selection and lots of it .. Entertainment very good on Grandeur and good on Paradise.
