The handicap inside cabins are approx 256 sq ft,is there any motion with these. Also do you know what the possibility of an upgrade to a balcony handicap if available and any idea of upgrade price. (once boarded)

I wouldn't count on being able to upgrade once on board. The handicap cabins probably fill up before the cruise sails.

The "motion" you will get doesn't really depend on interior or exterior but on deck and location on the ship. For the least amount of "motion" choose cabins on the lower decks near the center of the ship.... But the ship IS moving, there is going to be some motion.

I have actually upgraded to the handicapped suites upon checking in at the pier..twice. For the typical 7 day cruise I think it was $300 for the cabin, not per person. On one of the cruises, another couple traveling with us also upgraded to the handicapped suite as well. When you arrive at the check-in desk at the pier, ask them. It is worth the extra money.

Sharyn, if you want an outside cabin I would suggest you call your travel agent. He or she could make the change if what you want is available.
