I was thinking of upgrading to cabin 1570 on the Explorer. I noticed it is right below the pools/hottubs. Is this a major concern? Has anyone stayed in this particular cabin? Also how much bigger is the balcony on this cabin opposed to a reguly cat D. And is the bathroom a larger? If anyone has any pics that would be fantastic.
Thanks.
Leigh

1570 is a Grand Suite! Big difference from a D catagory. A Grand Suite on the Explorer is 381 sq ft. with a 95 sq ft. balcony. A catagory D is 202 sq ft. with a 50 sq ft. balcony. It's almost twice the size. No problem with the pool. You'll be near an elevator mid-ship.

Its hard to really tell untill you have seen it. I was looking at the deck plans trying to figure out just where it was located. I was surprised to see this suite come avail so I got to thinking maybe it was very loud....which I don't think I would really mind. Would hate for there to be a leak in the pool if we were right underneath
Thanks.

I've been in a lot of staterooms and never had any problems with noise. I would be more concerned about the water below your cabin than the water above it.
