A travel magazine I get puts the average age of RCCL cruisers currently at 40, and at 53 for Princess. So overall you will probably find a younger crowd. My daughter travels with us and she is 20 and always seems to find people in their 20s around (you can get in the clubs at 18 even if you can't be served at the bar). I just grabbed the cruise compasses from my last cruise: Day one evening: Millionare Game Show, Welcome Aboard Show, Wine Tasting, Family Disco, Parade on the Promenade, Karaoke Kick Off, Movie time, 8-12:30 Dance music Deck 14, Piano bar 8;45-12, Guitar & vocals 9:30-12:30 a.m., DJ music at the Catacombs (a lively, young people spot) 11:00-LATE. DAY 2: Latin dance, Boleros 7:30-1 a.m., Dance music deck 14, Nightclub dancing with DJ Catacombs club 10:00-2a.m. Celebrity DJ 12:00-2 a.m. Karaoke & Boogie Bodies, On Air Club, Bar Managers Glow Party 11:15P.M. Catacombs, Search for Singles, Country "Name that Tune", Production Show in theatre, Battle of the Sexes game at the Sphinx DAY 3: Same as DAY 2 plus: Classic Rock name that tune, Margarita and Mojito Madness, 70s song tribute and parade, Dancin in the street 70s style, Adult Quest game show, Late night adult comedy in the theatre. Same as Day 3, plus: Big Band Dance Music in the Sphinx, Jazz Cabaret on deck 14, Love & Marriage game show, Outdoor nightclub poolside, DAY 5: Lots more of same.
Also the Freedom class ships have the flowrider going. Also always people in hot tubs having a night cap, many pubs and bars with no entertainment just a place to hang out and maybe play cards or dice--Remember the Casino is on board, and there is bingo almost every night (very fun, especially when you are playing to win a cruise!)If your friends don't have enough nightlife they are just not trying to have a good time.
