Just got back from Liberty!!

We got home last night after a 7 night on the Liberty. We loved every minute of it. Infact, our 9 yr old daughter cried on the last night because she didn't want to leave. Thanks to all who have answered my questions that were posted. Got some really helpful tips and information.

So happy to hear you enjoyed it! Isn't the Liberty a great ship? We were aboard for the eastern run back in June and I consider it to be the best cruise we've ever had with RCI. Superb crew.

Now that is what I like to hear!!! We are going on the Liberty, leaving on December 1. We have an 8 year old daughter and it sounds like she is going to love it. Did you do the Eastern or Western cruise? Any tips or suggestions, especially if you did the Western itenarary. Did your daughter like the Adventure Ocean club or did she go? We are getting wound up as you can tell!!! This will be our fourth cruise but our daughter's first.

We did the Eastern itinerary. She went to Adventure Ocean every day at least twice, sometimes four. They offer three sessions a day for a few hours at a time. There's even a "Late Night Party Zone" offered from 10pm - 1 am, but that you have to pay $5 a hour for. It's nice if you want to go to a show or whatever. The staff is awesome. I believe they all have college degrees. So many activities planned during each session. You'll get an itinerary each night along with your Cruise Compass. At first, I felt like I was "dropping her off", but she begged to go every time. I guess mom and dad aren't as fun as her new friends!

Welcome back LuvbnnRN, glad to hear you enjoyed your cruise. Time to book another. It helps ease the pain of disembarkation. All of the cruise lines do a wonderful job with the kids. Glad to hear your daughter loved it. It is so nice to be able to have a few hours of quiet time. Look forward to seeing where your next itinerary will take you!

We went to San Juan, Puerto Rico, St Maarten, and Labadee, Haiti. Next, is the Mexican Riviera in July 2009. Whoopee!
