Has anyone been on the Yellowbird tour in Nassau? I am trying to find an excursion for a family with two children ages 10 and 3. RCCL's website says it is for all ages but the recommend ages 18 + because they serve rum punch. I don't plan on letting my kids drink that... ...but I would like to hear from someone who has taken this tour to see if it would be suitable for kids. Thanks so much!

Collette, I did that tour a few years ago and don't think I would recommend it for a family. Because it is UNLIMITED rum punch it definitely attracts a party crowd. My experience was that the ride back got pretty rowdy and some of the dancing antics would be deemed questionable for children. (Don't know if that happens all the time, but I don't think I'd take the chance with young ones along).

Did the Yellowbird in May. I agree with NancyN. We had 12 adults and we all liked to party. Had a great time and highly recommend the tour but for adults. It was not even half full so I think we had a better time than others. Crew was very nice and a lot of fun. Beach was beautiful and ride to and from scenic. Must say we enjoyed the people and the rum punch. I think that for children as young as yours I would look at something else. Maybe the zoo. That is supposed to be very nice. Enjoy the cruise.

Do not take children on Yellowbird!! A lot of drunks on board. Despite their claims for unlimited rum punch, the bar is very small and you have to fight your way in for a drink. The bartenders will add a shot to your free drink for an extra dollar (and there were a lot of dollars being thrown around). Also, there are a lot of bees flying around on the upper deck of the boat.

I really enjoyed the YellowBird Tour but I too do not think it is for kids. There was a "party atmosphere" but we did not have a boatfull of drunken morons.. still I would not take my kids..
