I remember when you could bring alcohol on a Rccl ship or buy it in the ships store & bring it to your cabin. But times have changed so I just bring a few more bucks.Having said that I have the family suite on the Liberty & it has a bar on the deck so I called Rccl & asked how will I stock it? They said don't worry they will get me what ever I want.
WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?

Papae,
I find that very interesting. I have an owner's suite on the Voyager next week. I'll check out the stocking status. Thanks for the heads up!
I just called Royal Caribbean about having something in the room for mixing drinks. They said it's NOT allowed. It doesn't matter if you're in an inside cabin or a Royal suite, the rules apply for everyone. I'm glad they stand by their rules and make no exceptions. I think wine is OK to have in a room because they offer it to C&A diamond plus members. Also, my travel agent has always had some wine sent to our cabin. You can have it delivered either to your stateroom or to your dining table.
If my memory serves me correctly, I seem to recall that there are liquor miniatures, splits of champagne and soda in the mini-bars on RC ships which can be purchased for in-cabin use. If I am thinking about some other cruise line, please feel free to correct me. I know that you can order bottles of wine delivered to your cabin (same price as at the bars or in the dining room).

I dont know if RCCL does this but when I was on a Carnival ship you could not bring alcohol on the ship from ports. It was given to you at the end of your cruise.
