I'm almost afraid to ask this since I've already booked the cruise and can't look back now. I would like to know everyone's opinion on what they think of kids going on cruises. My husband and I took a 3 day cruise alone, we are planning on taking our 3 kids on a 7 day cruise this month. Their ages are 8, 10 & 14. I'd also like some ideas or suggestions that would help this experience be better than I would ever expect. Thanks

We took our kids, and their cousins last summer on the Rhapsody. The kids ranged in age from 6 to 13. They had a great time. Several passengers commented how well behaved they were at dinner. We had a kids table and an adult table. The kids received so much attention from all the staff on this ship that they were above and beyond the normal spoiled. Don't forget to take some walkie talkies, and let the kids go. They do have GREAT children's programs daily. The only real problem with letting the kids go is that it will be real hard for you and your husband to ever go again without the kids. They will know what they will be missing. Have a great time.
