Western Caribbean excursions

Hello, everyone!

I will be cruising aboard FOS on August 5th to travel the Western Caribbean itinerary (Labadee, Haiti; Ocho Rios, Jamaica; Georgetown, Grand Cayman; Cozumel, Mexico). This is my second cruise. The ship leaves from Miami, Florida. What's the earliest time I can board the ship? Also, I'd like to go on the following excursions: SeaTrek Kayak Adventure in Haiti, Dolphin Encounter Swim & Dunn's River Falls in Jamaica, Trolley Roger in Grand Cayman, and Cozumel Highlights & Shopping in Cozumel. I will purchase the excursions directly from RCI with gift certificates that I will obtain from points earned from credit card purchases. If anyone has taken these excursions or know something I don't know, please let me know. I would really appreciate it! Can't wait to go!

Sounds like you've done your homework on available excursions. Of the ones you mentioned, I've only done Dunn River Falls and that's well worth the time and money.

For the most part, I'm not a big fan of excursions. I like to explore on my own by renting a scooter or a car and taking in the local color and flavor. You have the freedom to do what you want at your own pace, and it's much cheaper!

I'm using thankyou points from my credit card to pay for the excursions. However, I will definitely keep it in mind to venture out on my own. Maybe I'll only book the dolphin swim/dunn's river falls & 1 more excursion, and "do my own thing" while in the other two ports. Thanks for the advice!
