SOS Formal night ??

Will be going on 3 night cruisde on Soverign of the Seas in Sept and I was wondering if there is a formal night on this short cruise? Which night will it be on? and how formal is formal? Thanks!

There is a formal night on Sovereign's 3-night cruise, on Saturday night. Dress varies, from cocktail dresses to dressy pants outfits to nice dresses for women. Most men will be in suits, few will be in a tuxedo.

Folks who prefer not to pack dressy clothes can always have dinner in the Windjammer Cafe that night.

Yes, that will be ok. I find a lot of people on short cruises like 3nts don't dress up as much. When I was on the Sovereign last September I saw some people just wearing dockers and collared shirt on formal night.

burr, I'm escorting a family reunion group on the Sovereign this coming Friday, and will be happy to report back to you as to the general dress on formal night. For myself, I'm bringing a pants outfit with a jacket that has a few sequins on it, and I know that will be just fine.

When we received our cruise documents from RC, the booklet included recommendations for proper attire for formal night and casual nights.
