Has anyone been on the Grandeur of the Seas lately? I haven't read anything lately about this ship and was just wondering what the status was on it. Thanks for any info.

Thank you - I will contact you when you get back. Where are you going? Our cruise is a repositioning cruise in April - Leaves out of Tampa - visiting Cozmel, Grand Caymen and Aruba. We will have 3 days at sea so I am curious as to activities they will have. Also night life. My 26 year old son and his girlfriend will be going with us and they will be interested in dancing. Have a good time on your cruise. What a wonderful time of year to go!

Can't wait to hear about it. Have a good time! Have a drink by the pool for me. I went back and read that it is your wife's birthday so Happy Birthday to her!

hi ther just back http://cruise-chat.com/groupee_commo...icon_frown.gif from grandeur of the seas.

wonderful time, was not impressed by the evening entertainment at all and the ship is starting to look a bit old and tired.

the avarage age on board must have been in the mid 60's and the midnight buffet and viking lounge disco's where almost empty.

Any cruise over 7 days, the drowd gets noticebly older....

I did a 5 day on the Grandeur out of Tampa, as a solo cruiser, and at 46, I couldn't keep up. But jeez I tried....and enjoyed every minute of it. http://cruise-chat.com/groupee_commo...n_rolleyes.gif

Thanks for the reassurance. Thats what I was hoping - the shorter cruise and the fact that it is April and hopefully there will be younger cruisers. My husband and I don't care as we will just be relaxing on our balcony!
