are the beds comfortable and do the drapes block the sun? I asked this before and no none answered. We are going on adventure of the seas and leave 2/25 out of PR. We are in cabin 7530 any one else stay in that cabin? Is it in the front or back of the ship. 1st time cruiser here. Thenk you.

The drapes in the cabins do a great job of blocking the light from shining in. RCI is putting new bedding on all their ships. Not sure if they have done the Adventure yet, but I'd assume they have completed the newer ships (like the Adventure). We had the new beds on the Freedom and they were wonderful. Read about the new beds here.

Spend enough time in the bars and it won't matter how comfortable the beds are!

I've never personally experienced any problems with the quality of the beds on any cruise line with the exception of the crease in the middle when they push two twins together to make a king.

I thought sleeping a crusie ship was the same as a water bed. http://images7.fotki.com/v142/photos...33/lol2-vi.gif

Just a friendly little tip here, oxbumbleaxo,
you might consider doing a little research on the ship you are cruising on in the future; to not know if your cabin is fore or aft strikes me as a pretty casual way to book a cruise--and details like that COULD make a difference in your enjoyment of your trip.
Just a thought.

It's O.K., some people don't know their left from their right either...

Okay..... http://cruise-chat.com/groupee_commo...icon_smile.gif

Cabin 7530 is forward on the port side of the ship. Look here to see the deck layout.

It is always a good idea to check out the deck plans before booking a cruise. Plans for all ships can be found on the cruise websites as well as on sites such at Travelocity and the like.

Thank you all for the answers. Being it is our first cruise I did not think of where to book our cabin our friend the travel agent did all the work. Again thanks for the informed answers.

Nothing wrong with putting your trust in a friend, especially if they are a travel agent.
Then on your next cruise you can bring some ideas to the table.
Have a great trip!
