I saw a good review on the "Holiday Inn Park & Cruise" package out of Los Angeles and it looked like a very good deal ($149 per couple for 1 night, shuttle to ship, parking for 7 days) My question is...is there a better place to stay if more than 1 night is planned? For instance...would it be better to pay a bit more and stay in Long Beach? The park & cruise Holiday Inn (on my bad little map) looks to be in an industrial area with very little to do within walking distance...although I'm not sure....anyone have some thoughts??

Hi Kelly,
I recently stayed at the Sheraton LA Harbor in San Pedro on their Fly and Sail pkg ($199). They also offered a Park and Sail package that I believe was about the same as the rate you are being offered at the Holiday Inn. It was within easy walking distance of Port o Call and offered shuttle service to the port.

Hope this helps-
