Freedom: Using Drink Cards at Restaurants

If you purchase a "soda card", are the drinks still extra at the Pizzeria, Windjammer, Jade & Johnny Rockets restaurants? If you can't use the drink cards there, can you get your food to go so you can get a drink elsewhere with the card you've already paid extra for?

P.S. How do we get permission to add a countdown timer to our signatures? I figured out how to get one, but saw it said you must have permission to include the HTML code in your signature.

The soda card is good at the places you listed. I think the pizzeria had little boxes for pizza, but the other places are eat-in.

You don't need permission from the staff to post a countdown clock in your signature line. However, HTML will no longer work. You have to use UBB code. Read this message thread for more info.

I am new here so forgive me if this has been mentioned. This goes along with the drink card question. What places do you have to pay and how much? Per person, per meal or per person, per cruise? Is this pizzeria free? Thanks for any answers.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I am just slow, but is this charge every time that you visit the restaruants or a one time thing? With the three of us, if it is every time, then that would get very expensive. Anyway, we are booked for December 2007 on the Liberty of the Seas!

Yes, each time you use an extra-fee dining option you have to pay the cover charge. But you won't be going to Chops or Portofino's more than once, and maybe one or two visits to Johnny Rockets. So for the three of you, $60 for Chops one night and $12 for lunch at Rockets one afternoon.
The vast amount of your eating will be at the buffet, the main dining room, or at the other places included in your cruise price such as the pizzeria and cafe.

Thanks for the info! This will be 7 year old daughter's first cruise and we can't wait to get back ourselves. It sounds like she would like Rockets a lot. We have a JS booked, can't wait!!
