We did the Yellow Bird Party boat last October. It lasts approximately 3 hours. We met with other cruisers from other ships on the dock around 1:00 pm, had about a 30 minute ride out to a private island. As the cataraman left the dock the rum punch started flowing, there was also a calypso band playing. When we arrived at the private island the the punch was put away..if you wanted to purchase any drinks on the island they were very expensive and food was also very expensive..after about 1 1/2 hours everybody started boarding back on the cataraman and then the real party started. The rum was flowing very freely, and if it was not strong enough for you they have no problem adding extra rum to it...at one point my drinks were 98% run and 2% punch...those went over the side of the boat..
. Its a lot of fun, but I would not advise bringing young children on it, because you do have a boat full of crazy and drunk people on it. We did take our teenage daughter and there was one other teenage girl on the boat..rest were adults.
~~Caution~~ don't take this tour if you are not a partier or are easily offended by a bunch of drunks..
