Just back-Navigator 6th floor balcony great!

HI - just got back from a wonderful first cruise! We were in 6564 on the Navigator and the balconys are clear plexiglass below the rail (just thought I'd mention it since previous posts say it is metal). The Ice Show did not require tickets and was fabulous! The food was great and we had the most fun, relaxing time (so much so that we booked a cruise for next year while on board!). Thanks to all for the advice. I used a patch and also took a Bonine tablet on one day of rough seas and felt great. The hint about taking a power strip was a good one, too. Now I just need to count the days until my next cruise!

Welcome back from the Navigator. I'll be on her in just two weeks. We'll be onboard for 14 nights. The Navigator and Mariner have the plexiglass, where the other 3 Voyager class ships are metal. Here is a picture of our balcony on the Navigator...

I just got back from the navigator and loved it... beautiful ship.. i felt so safe letting my 11 and 16 year olds go with their friends to play basketball... Ice Show is a must see.. and Quest also.. it was a hoot. Food was wonderful.. cabins werent as bad as i had anticipated space enough... but i did have 2 16 year old girls and myself trying to get ready everything NEVER AGAIN lol.. will get them their own room we were on the 6th floor.. some friends had balcony rooms which were very nice too. Already planning for next spring break..

Jessica, it sounds like you had a great time. If you book next year's cruise early enough, you could get yourself a balcony room and get the girls an inside room right across the hall, rather than have 2 balcony rooms. That'll save you some money, and give you the privacy and extra bathroom you need.
