wireless internet

I have already posted this , but did not receive too many replies.

Can anyone please tell me if they have been on Explorer of the Seas and if they had an internet connection in their stateroom? Do they rent laptops or does one bring their own? What is the cost? Please advise asap!

We usually take our own laptop, I have never heard of anyone renting one, only thing is. you buy a package for your laptop connection, and they are pretty pricey, dont save a lot by using your own set, also the wirless is confined to hot spots on the ship unless the suites have a connection. Sorry if this is not too helpful, I would take your laptop anyway, if you have used the internet on baoard before you know what to expect, 50cents a minute and very slow connection!!!
