Johnboy- yes, that's what the soup was. Miso soup. I did not like it at all. I remember saying that I thought it tasted like wood. Well, at least you now know you can get it at the sushi bar. Lil' Lori

Those are good. I seem to recall fried rice at breakfast too, which I think is good. The typical American breakfast foods can get really boring.

Dave, did you ever have a rice omelette when you were in Japan? They were really good and I still make them sometimes. Good not only for breakfast, but anytime. Maybe they will be available at Jade? Now I'm REALLY getting excited!

I probably had a rice omelet or maybe many of them, but I can't remember. Too many Kirins during those years. I do know it is not something I've had in the past 31 years (since leaving Japan).
