Buying Liquor on cruise

Hello!

Cruised on the Monarch back in 2000, but can't remember if you are allowed to buy liquor at their store on board and bring it back to your room. Going on the Serenade of the Seas on Feb. 12-19. Any help appreciated. Thanks!

They will hold it until the end of the cruise.

Any liquer you buy whether it is on the ship or in port, they will hold it for you and return it to you at the end of your cruise.

Actually, Royal Caribbean has what is called a "consumption fee"and they will allow you to purchase alcohol at the onboard liquor store to take back to your cabin. It is usually $9.50 per bottle, which ends up being about the same as what you would probably pay for a bottle at home.
