Is the continual, public space, recorded music on this ship annoying or loud? Please help as this could change my plans.

I just got off the Jewel (sister to the Serenade) and until you posted this question I didn't even think about the background music and was hard pressed to even remember it. I do recall only hearing it in the elevators and while lounging on the deck by the pool - but it was in no way invasive or loud. It may have been in the halls also - but if it was, I can promise you it is never heard in the cabins. So obviously, it is unobtrusive.
