I cannot understand why RCI has such a problem maintaining the personal information area of their website. It has gone on for years and if anything has gotten worse. Our latest saga involves Vanessa's account. It moved to diamond level when mine did but I noticed they didn't list two of her cruises. I foolishly e-mailed them an inquiry. RCI replied a few days later saying they had found the missing cruises and would post them to Vanessa's list of cruises. That was two weeks ago. Since then, her account no longer shows her C&A status and doesn't show ANY past cruises.

I realize the website isn't the ultimate storage area for C&A status, and they know she is diamond, but for pete's sake it shouldn't be this hard!

Thanks for listening.

Dave - Don't be underwhelmed by RCCL, it sounds to me like you have just been "whelmed"!

Dave i totally understand your frustration. I went through the exact same thing with my crown and anchor. They didn't list any of my past cruises so were kept emailing back and forth for weeks and finally almost 2 months later they posted them to my account.

I'm having the opposite problem with RCCL-they keep listing cruises I cancelled years ago on the C&A website!

I have that happening to me but I'm afraid if I say anything I'll enter the abyss of their website. They list a cruise I booked and cancelled but don't give any credit for it.

I know this is the RCI Forum, but I have to put in a good word for Princess here. I had a problem with my status and called their 800 number (and not even the new line dedicated to Platinum and Elite members); by the time I got back to the computer it had been corrected. So it can be done.

I quit dealing with the website altogether... I book cruises through my TA and then I call RCCL C&A help line and talk to a real person. They goofed up one of my past cruise credits and it didn't list me as diamond level. After talking to an ACTUAL person, the problem was quickly rectified.

Sounds like the mess I went through with CCL several years ago. They got it straightened out though. I'm sure RCI will too.

They still have one extra cruise on the list that I didn't take. I have called them three times and emailed them about this twice. I gave up. I figure I did my part by being honest and telling them.

When they acknowledged the original mess up I received one of their famous 45 day letters.

Update...they have fixed my wife's account. I'm not sure if my whining about it here had an effect, but regardless it is all correct now.

Hey, when the "Cruise Commodore" speaks, people listen! Glad it is straightened out, Dave.
