I've never been a huge fan of cold soups either. I guess I am one dimensional when it comes to soup. I've tried them though. But some really are pushing it - for instance the one they served on the Sun Princess in 1998 that was really nothing more than a pina colada. I guess they could have served me a martini as a soup...."And now our chef's special cold soup - a tantalizing blend of gin and olive juices accented with just a hint vermouth and garnished with a skewer of manzanilla olives".
As I said, not a fan of cold soup but by golly, I'm in for the martini soup. I'll also have the Guinness draft soup. Maybe we found a way around those drink prices so many have complained about on here!
