Ender, I am afraid you inadvertently make an interesting point. Chilean wines have existed under the radar for a long time. The proper storing and aging of wine is a long, often tedious, and expensive process. The warm coastal climate of Chile provides wines that are remarkably drinkable in their youth. The Chileans have discovered a perfect balance of aromatic fruit and acidity in their winemaking. Unfortunately, the internet has increased the popularity of the Chilean wines and their prices have been on the upswing ever since. Enjoy the $3.00 bottles and expect them to be $30.00 on the ship.
