Enchantment of the Seas 23rd April 2011 Bahamas
Me and my partner are thinking of going on the Bahamas cruise on 23rd April from Maryland, Baltimore.
Has anyone sailed on the Enchantment of the Seas and what is it like?
The cruise stops at Nassau, cococay and port canavarel. We have not been to any of these ports can someone also tell us what these ports are like?
Port Canaveral is where the space center is, the launch pad for the space shuttles are near by. Nassau is the most populated island of the Bahamas, most everyone visits the Atlantis on Paradise Island (which is across the bridge). There is a public beach adjacent to the Atlantis (Cabbage Beach) that is very nice. Coco Cay is Royal Caribbean's private island, it's a great beach day with a bar-b-que provided by the ship's staff. It's a nice weekend getaway, sure beats the weather in Maryland:)
The Enchantment is a nice ship, redone a few years ago and in good shape. It doesn't have the features of Royal Caribbean's larger ships, such as the Promenade Deck, but it's a nice ship.
The first and last day or so out of Baltimore may be cool, with average temperatures in April at about 65F, with rain always a possibility in Spring.
