Any free cocktails on Oasis of the Seas?

Ahoy!
Saw somwhere that some cruises offer a free cocktail hour.
Anything like that on Oasis? (BTW - our cruise is Mar. 26 - E. Carib)

Also, any other worthwhile "freebies" of anything, that a person should know about once we're on board??? maybe some things that aren't well-publicised, but are available?

The only complimentary cocktails are at the Captain's welcome aboard reception, and I believe Royal Caribbean has reduced that to just champagne or white wine. They do serve complimentary drinks at the Crown & Anchor member receptions, and nightly for suite guests and Diamond and Diamond Plus C&A members in the concierge lounge and/or Diamond member lounge (if a ship has one).

So in summary, unless you are in a suite or a high-end C&A member you will only see a couple glasses of champagne on the first formal night.

As usual Dave is 100% in his post. I can only add that in my short time as an avid cruiser I have found that making friends with at least one of the bartenders can work in your favor as the cruise progresses. On Oasis last August many drinks were "secured" from just getting to know the staff behind the bar. Does it work all the time...probably not....but I think of it as a casino comp...lol. Have fun...your gonna have blast!!!!!

I agree 417Rogers. Get to know your bartender(s). At the very least, they will give you a drink that is a little stronger or have something else of interest added to it...
