Taking the Radiance of the Sea out of Tampa in a few weeks and just looking for any good info. have never sailed from this port before. Any hotel recommendations.

I'm always ready to help an old shipmate, but I've never cruised from Tampa. I know a man who lives near there. I'll ask him for his advice.

Hi,

We stayed at the Tampa Marriott Westshore a few years back.
We had a corner room that was fabulous. The pool was also very nice. There are also several restaurants in walking distance; as well as a mall.

We've driven to Tampa twice for cruises and stayed at the Hilton Westshore on Lois Ave. The hotel was very clean and nice. It's about 1/2 mile from the International Plaza Mall. The hotel offered free cruise parking and shuttle service to the cruise port.

Thanks everyone for the info. it ends up we have relatives ten minutes from the pier, so we will be staying there.

That's the best way, they won't charge for parking either I hope you have a marvelous cruise!! Bon Voyage

Yeah Bill, that's the perfect ticket! Stay in their home, eat their food, drink their beer, and then have them drop you off at the pier for your cruise vacation. Then when you come back you tell them how great it was and ask if they happened to top off your car's gas tank while you were gone.
