Default kettle
hi could anyone who has been on the oasis tell us if there is a kettle in balcony rooms grade d8. we need boiling water to make up the babies bottles.
we have seen them in a junior suite on the independance before.
if not would we be able to take a travel kettle on board as it saves on time going up to the windjammer everytime we need to refill them.
Thanks for looking

Personal kettles, coffee makers, hot plates, and such, are not allowed to be brought aboard.

I don't know if RCI provides approved kettles on the Oasis. If there was one in my standard cabin on the Oasis in 2009 I don't remember it. I've seen them in suites we've had on other RCI ships, but in those cases the ship had recently been in markets where the clientele expected kettles in the cabins (Far East, UK).

Thanks dave i think we will just have to go to the windjammer and stock up.
I understand not being able to bring you own electrical goods onboard.

You might ask at the purser's desk if they have some type of a warmer you could use. They might even have some type of a kettle available.
