buying wine
It is our 30th Anniversary and we are sailing the Voyager of the Seas and I was wondering if we can buy one bottle of wine in the diningroom at dinner and if we don't finish it can it be recapped for another night?.....thanks, amm

ABSOLUTELY!!!
In fact, the unfinished bottle from the previous night is usually waiting for you at your table when you sit down. The wait staff is very good with such things, so go ahead and purchase as many bottles as you want. Happy Anniversary and have a wonderful cruise! Brad |
Wine
Not that you asked but you can also order wine online through RCCL website and have it delivered to your room..We did that on Freedom this past October..Was nice to have in room..we would sit on balcony with glass of wine and look at "nothing". actually ordered some cheese and crackers and a fruit basket.

We were on Princess and they allow 2 bottles of wine to be brought on at each port for consumption only in your cabin. I didn't know they did that; does RCI allow this for passengers?

I believe it is only 1 bottle per person and only at the port of embarkation on Royal. I could be wrong, though. Dave?

RCI policy is no personal alcohol is allowed to be brought aboard, even on embarkation day and definitely not in the ports-of-call. No wine, no beer, no liquor. They even eyeball bottles of soda or water that you may have bought while on a tour. Perhaps the most restrictive line when it comes to this.
But as Brad said, they will keep any unused bottled wine and serve it on subsequent nights in the main dining room. |
