List of Free Dining Locations

Good morning. We have always sailed Carnival and this will be our first R.C on Allure of the Seas sailing 5/29. I've read a lot of reviews here and on cruise critic as I always do.

However, I have not been able to find a listing of the different places and times where one can eat for free.

I have read that Park Cafe, Solarium Bistro and Cafe Prominade are free.

When I called the RC 800 number they didn't know the answer to my question or where a list might be obtained.

I'm not sure about the Allure, but I know for sure the dining room and Windjammer Cafe are free. Cafe Promenade has both items that are free and items that you must pay for. Specialty coffee at the Cafe Promenade you have to pay for, but regular or decaf coffee is free, as I think are most of the pastries.

Thanks Dave ... I had wondered if they would be the same as the Oasis - I saw a posting earlier this morning about the dining options. I wonder why they dont just post this online?

I've never understood why the cruise lines seem to revel in making their websites places of confusion and mystery about many things. Royal Caribbean is among the worst to me as far as finding a simple answer to some question. Just the other day, I was booking shows and dinners for my upcoming Allure cruise and I had to use one web browser to book some things, and another browser to book other things. It's crazy.

To me, the Allure has more exciting dining choices than the Oasis has. I am really looking forward to the Samba Grill Brazilian dinner and Rita's Cantina. Also the Dog Haus for a quick lunch or snack.

I agree, Dave, some websites are so horrible. Ever try to find Transatlantic cruises on Princess? I couldn't view deck plans on Carnival in IE, had to use Chrome. I don't understand it either. I assume that they contract their websites out? If not, they really need to get some new programmers Thank you so much for sharing the dining options. I found the Epic's rather easily on-line, and booking the shows was a snap. Of course, since I've said that, they'll revamp their website

I've seen some good websites, not only gave restaurant discount but only gives charity...think of it you only get full you also gave charity.
