Radiance Of The Seas Renovations

Radiance of the Seas entered the Victoria Shipyards in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, today to start her 22-day dry dock. The ship will receive a variety of enhancements including a Samba Grill, Giovanni’s Table, Park Café, Boardwalk Dog House, Izumi, as well as 15 new staterooms.

I love it when this happens since many of the popular places from the Oasis and Allure are being installed on older ships.

It's amazing what they can do in 22 days. I'll have to book a cruise on the Radiance so I can experience the new additions.

I thought I heard the Captain say that they were also going to make a new Concierge Club and move it from it's present location. I wonder if they're going to upgrade and change the Prominade area too? Seemed a little disjointed to me last March. We also really liked the aft section of deck #11 behind the Windjammer for lunch and breakfast seating.

Simply remarkable what they can do, especially in such a short time. Considering it takes years to build.

Seems like RCCL is back on track. I really like the improvements,especially the Pub. I believe they are adding a Diamond Lounge where the card room was in the Viking Crown like they did on the Splendour. I will miss the Seaview Cafe . These improvements are coming at a cost though as they are pricing it consideratey more than the Rapsody doing the same intinerie. Now if they could only convert the pools to fresh water
