How far is San Juan from the port?

I just received my passport renewal in the mail yesterday(woohoo!) for my 7-day southern caribbean cruise aboard the Serenede of the Seas in October. How far is the San Juan airport from the cruise port?

RCCL use the port in front (Carnival Victory port) Old San Juan that is walking distance that will depend on the ship size...

I just returned from 7 day Southern Caribbean cruise on Serenade of the Seas. They did not use the port out of old San Juan. Some people took a cab ride over to old San Juan as it was not walking distance....however it was close.

I'm going on the very same itinerary next week (woohoo)! How much was the cab ride to the cruise port? Does RCL offer a shuttle service between the airport and cruise port?

We've taken a cab from the port in Old San Juan to the airport and it was about $10. I'm not sure how much it is to the other pier. I wouldn't think it would be much more. Hope you have a wonderful cruise Ms. Noell M. Belton! Bon Voyage

Thank you very much, and a bon voyage to you too! On a side note, I wasn't aware that my ENTIRE name would appear like that throughout the discussion posts! When I was creating my profile, I thought it was for just account purposes. Believe me, if I could change it - I don't think I can - I would to something much simpler like everyone else.

You can change it. Click on the Go (upper left hand corner)then Personal Zone, then profile, then profile again, then View/Edit. Hope that helps
