Balcony/Promenade vs Balcony/Central Park

Planning a cruise on the Oasis in Nov 2011 and cannot decide between a balcony promenade view or balcony central park view. Any suggestions from past passengers of this ship?

There are no promenade view balconies. Do you mean the Boardwalk?

All the inside balcony cabins have shortcomings in my opinion. Zero privacy is the common issue. Central Park balconies are reported as being hotter with less air movement, plus you do get noise from both below and above. Boardwalk balconies really have noise issues. You have the constant carousel music, plus activities at the AquaTheater which also happen during the day. And don't forget the zip line and flow riders are right above.

Yes, I think your are right. Boardwalk not Promenade. So in your opinion they are not worth it? If I was to choose one though which would be the better of the two evils? It is either this or inside or oceanview.

I think Sonny told me he preferred the Boardwalk balconies to the Central Park, and even with that the ones towards the back are better since you can see some ocean, have some breeze, and also can see the big diving show every time without having tickets.
