Platinum to Diamond?

I would like to ask, is it possible to attain diamond status with royal caribbean thru cruises with Celebrity line?

Just attained Royal Caribbean platinum level a few weeks ago and planning to go on a 14 nights cruise with celebrity. As a platinum member, I would be able to enroll to celebrity captain club select level, I would be able to collect 2 tier credits after the cruise. If I gain 3 more tier credits with celebrity, am I able to attain Elite level and subsequently attain Diamond level thru reciprocal revognition with Royal Caribbean?

You cannot combine the two cruise lines to reach a specific level. However; they have a reciprocal agreement. If you are Diamond level on Royal Caribbean you will receive the Elite level amenities on Celebrity. If you are sailing on Celebrity you would need to call the Captain's Club and let them know you are Diamond on Royal Caribbean. In your case you would receive the Select level on Celebrity.

meaning platinum member not actually get enroll to captain clubs select? But merely enjoy the select status with captain clubs classic level while on celebrity cruises?

You are listed at the reciprocal level. For example I am diamond with RCI but have not done enough cruises with Celebrity to attain Elite status on it's own, yet I am shown as an Elite member on the Celebrity website.

So, if you cruise with Celebrity your cruise card shows you as a Select member if you are a platinum C&A member. It is a bit confusing, especially since RCI has more member levels than does Celebrity.

In other words - you will be sailing 14 nights with Celebrity but won't get any credit toward your Diamond Status with Royal Caribbean. The only way to attain Diamond Status is to sail with Royal Caribbean. The same scenario applies for loyal passengers of Celebrity when they sail with Royal Caribbean. You need 80 points to become a Diamond Member. If you book a Junior Suite or higher you will earn an extra point for each day you sail. I don't know how important it is to you to make the Diamond Status, but you may want to consider those 14 points before you book.
