Absolutely enjoy dinner with your child! We have some wonderful memories of this when our son was very young. Some tips: We practiced at home for a while, starting in diners and working our way up to quieter family restaurants. Also, ask for a table for just your family, or ask to be seated with other families with children, should you go for a set dining time. If you have a travel booster seat for the table, bring it, so s/he has something familiar. Also bring sippy cups, bottles, or whatever else s/he may need. (I don't recall if RCI is a line that offers this stuff, but familiar is always better, in my experience.)
And, do be sure to get a formal family photo. We still cherish ours!
Hi Armando Arias, welcome to CruiseReviews! Yes, children can stay in the dining room with their parents. Most cruise lines, RCI included, do not start programs until the child is 2 years of age. They do, however, offer babysitting services, for a fee. The Majesty is a great ship, even though an older ship. I hope you have a wonderful cruise!
