Cruising out of Cape Liberty (Bayonne NJ)

Can anyone out there help me out with a question?

Do you know approximate distance of Newark Airport to the Cruise Port vs the distance from LaGuardia to the port (Cape Liberty)?
The airfares are cheaper to go into NY, but the transportation to get to the port could be pretty pricy.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

From LGA it is 20 miles and anywhere from a half hour to an hour depending on traffic.

From Newark it is 9 miles and anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes depending on traffic.

We flew into Newark and cruised out of Bayonne. It was about 3 years ago. I believe the cab ride from the Sheraton was $35 for 4 of us....The traffic was a little heavy but it didn't take to long. (The cab driver was able to tell us ahead of time how much it would cost)
I will say to catch the plane home...took forever at this airport! They had like 3 seperate security check points...so allow plenty of time.
