RCCL will give you motion sickness pills at the desk relations. We just got back from 11-night cruise and my Mom gets seasick, we picked up the pills on the first day and she didn't have any problem at all. They are free and you only take one a day. No drowsiness.

Thank you for your respond. We were just told by some friends to take dramamine because we would be charged for itif we needed it on the ship royal caribbean. As far as we know none of us have motion sickness.
The patch makes most people sleepy, my mom's doctor gave her a prescription and told her to cut them in half and only use half a patch at a time so she wouldn't sleep the whole cruise away. The motion sickness pills from the ship's guest relations have worked the best for her.She didn't have any problems this time at all. Everyone is different.
Regarding Sea Bands: I have never had the need for them personally, but travel with friends who swear by them. Well, I was a bit skeptical about their worth until my husband was undergoing chemotherapy. He was violently ill each time, but someome suggested the Sea Bands and I was amazed at how well they worked. They were a Godsend for him (and me).
