Toiletries
What toiletries are supplied by RCCL? Do they have the shampoos, conditioners, and soaps like hotels do? Thanks.

They have a liquid shampoo/body wash in the showers and little bars of hand soap....that's about it unless you're in a suite.

It may vary by ship. I just came off the Monarch of the Seas on Friday and they had soap, and little bottles of shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, and hand lotion. I was in a Superior Oceanview cabin. Any ship will at a minimum have soap and shampoo.

Bathrooms
And each cabin has a hair drier in one of the drawers of the dressing table. Don't bring one, nor an iron; irons are not allowed. There is a dry cleaning(pressing) and laundry service available for a slight cost.

I second what Jim1012 said. My wife took a travel iron on one cruise and we got the "call" to go claim our suitcase. Had to go down to the "bilges" with all the "alcohol sneakers" and claim the suitcase. No big deal, just wasted time. Then after the cruise you have to go down and claim the iron if you want it back. They are getting pretty tight on RCL.

On my Carnival cruises there was a laundry room. They would always have at least two irons tethered to an ironing board. To start the iron, you would twist a kitchen-styled timer. But that was Carnival, not RCCL. I am not sure if the newer RCCL ships have a laundry room.
On my last cruise, I got to thinking, why worry if your clothes are a little wrinkled? THIS IS VACATION!! :D !! (not a job interview) |
None of Royal Caribbean's ships have passenger laundry rooms.
