You can always just do your own thing. Just grab a cab to a beach on Tortola and St. Kitts. There are always cabs waiting to take people back to the pier.
About the Butterfly Tour on St. Maarten....don't do it. Trust me.
Than ks for your response Dave.
Sounds like a good idea to catch a cab and do the beach. Are those areas safe that I can get a cab?
And thanks abt the warning for butterfly tour.. Is it that bad???
jayasheesh.....By all means do the "Accessible Dominica and Rainforest" It is an awesome adventure very enjoyable and enlightening! In Tortola...do a beach day at Cane Garden Bay and Stop to See what's happening at Boomba's Shack! Before heading back to the ship....pick up some Rum at Pusser's!!
Bon Voyage,

My family and I will be heading out in about two weeks and I was wondering about taking a taxi to a beach on St. Maarten...I have been there three times before, but always booked a snorkeling excursion through RC.
If we wanted to go to something like Mullet Bay Beach, would it be easy to take a taxi there? Or, does anyone recommend a different beach?
It is easy to get a taxi to anywhere. There prices aren't especially cheap though. Looking at the fare chart, going from Philipsburgh to Mullet Bay is $25 one-way.
Jayasesh, Sounds like an awesome cruise. Although it was not in St Maarten, I did the Seatrek and it was great. I like any excursion where there is a boat ride and snorkling.
