Dress for Liberty of the Seas
We are heading out on a 5 night/6 day cruise on Liberty of the Seas and are trying to prepare. I am wondering what the dress code is for the dinners. I have two teenage boys that have khaki pants and nice shirts but no suits. Will this be acceptable?

Liberty Dress
Yes, that form of dress will be fine. Usually, the only things they MAY frown on would be jeans, and NO shorts in the dining room. Those are fine for the Windjammer buffett on deck #11. I am one who doesn't even own a suit, sport jacket, or a tie, and nice slacks and a golf shirt, polo, etc., are perfectly fine, even for the formal nights. You're on vacation!! Allow youself, within reason, to have a great time!!

Khakis and a nice shirt should be fine. That's what I wore to the casual nights on my cruise. I don't own a formal suit, but for the formal nights, I wore dress slacks, shirt and tie, and sport coat. I'm one that likes to get dressed up (by my standards) on formal nights. By dressed up I mean what I wore to the formal night dinner.

We are just off the Liberty Saturday after spending 21 days on her. We had a fabulous time sailing the Med and doing the crossing to Fll. The Saturday Night Fever show is not to be missed as well as In the Air. There was not much dressing up but that may be due to it being a transatlantic and the weight restrictions on the flights to Europe. I have always felt the reason for dressing up is for the cruise line to take and SELL pictures. We had 5 formal nights and one night we went to Johnny Rockets and had a great dinner.I hope you have as good a time as we had.
