Up Next: Rock Legends Cruise

In 12 days I'll be boarding Liberty Of The Seas for the "Rock Legends" cruise. 4 days and nights of amazing music acts, headlining ZZ Top and George Thorogood And The Destroyers. Marshall Tucker, Dickie Betts, Edgar Winter, Johnnie Winter (playing separately). Many others too.

I'll be sharing a cabin with Cruisemates editor Paul Motter.

The excitement is definitely building!

And no dress code! I'm thinking jeans, shorts, and running shoes for the whole cruise.

I know one thing - I am only bringing a carry-on and a camera bag.

I must say, I'm quite envious. Three of the best shows I've ever seen were Johnnie Winter, Edgar Winter and Johnnie & Edgar Winter (see a theme here? ? ?). Have a great time and take lots of pictures.

Plus we get more than one chance to see each act except for ZZ Top. They are going to assign everyone to one of three shows for ZZ Top.

It's a shame the Navigator and Liberty aren't going to be in any ports at the same time - although that would only have been Nassau.

It is going to be quite a cruise. Just thinking of listening to one rock legend in a lounge is one thing. But when you realize other rock legends will be playing next door or up by the pool at the same time, it is awesome. Marshall Tucker is playing on the pool deck for one of their shows. I want to go to that one.

Plus just going to get a drink or coffee and bumping into one of these great musicians and singers. It is unreal!
