Brief Review of Allure of the Seas
 

We just finished traveling on the Allure of the Seas. It was very good and is in the running for "best cruise" we have taken. In case it helps anybody, here are a few brief Pros and Cons. Generally speaking, there was very little to "complain" about on this ship. It was a nice vacation!

Pros

• Embarking and disembarking is the fastest, and most organized that we have ever experienced
• The entertainment was top notch
• The surf similator was a lot of fun
• There was lots to do on the ship
• There were never lines to get back on the ship from port which is amazing considering how many passengers are on the ship

Cons

• The lines for professional photos were too long and we didn't get a chance to take very many of them
• There were lines for the elevators fairly often
• The dining room staff seemed very rushed and stressed--they got the job done, but didn't partake in the usual "How was your day?" type of small-talk
• The room was smaller than what we were used to and had much less storage space
• We were traveling with two kids and the rooms didn't have bunk beds--they slept in a double bed together and "bugged" each other a lot of the time

Welcome back, glad to hear you had a nice vacation on the Allure. In fact, it must have been right up there if it's running for the "best cruise":)

Thank you so much for your review, it is concise and informative. I'll bet the children didn't have much time to get bored, but of course they're going to "bug" each other. Mom, his leg's touching my leg. Mom....his pillow's better than my pillow. Mom...tell him to quit breathing on me:)

So when's the next cruise? Did you book a future cruise on board? Wouldn't you rather be back on board now?

On Board Entertainment
 

Did you book your on board entertainment in advance? If so, do you remember how far in advance they let you do it? We are 51 days out and we still can't do it.

I'm 11 days out. What time were you able to board??? I wanna get on as early as I can to start having fun and exploring.
