My theory of why they discount Florida before a general price drop for all is this; It helps fill the berths without dropping the price point for other bookings. Thus, the booking revenue averages higher than if if it was a total price drop. Just my theory.

I have a simple solution. I'll buy a place in Florida, and you can all stay there the night before. All you have to do is put my name first on the reservation and pay for my cruise! You'll all save a bundle!
