Earliest boarding time on Allure?
I know it says don't arrive before 2pm, but they all say that. What time were you able to board? Did you get there before 11am? I am leaving in 11 days and wanna get on board and explore. :) :p

Boarding time always depends on how quickly the cruise line can clear the ship after the cruise that just came in. Sometimes there are circumstances that prevent early boarding, like an unannounced Coast Guard inspection or problems with a departing passenger's passport. Also, since the Allure holds so many passengers, it sometimes takes longer than you'd think to clear the ship.
That said, it could be that boarding time will be earlier than 2pm. I've known people who have boarded as early as 11:30am or noon. There's just no way to know in advance. My advice is to get there early and whenever the ship is cleared, you'll be good to go. |
Sounds good. I am very excited to see this awesome ship. 10 more days!!!

You'll have a great time! The ship is awesome.
Come back and tell us how you enjoyed it. |
What will surprise you is how great the embarkation process is for the Allure. It is amazingly fast and painless...better than ships half the size can do.

We were able to get on the Oasis as early as 11:30. We got there around 11 and had a little waiting around to do (we went through the check-in process in 2 minutes!). Once we started moving, we were on the ship in about 10 minutes.
Have a great time! |

If you are among the first to board, if you want to eat lunch without the crowd already being there do this: you will enter the ship on the starboard side forward in the promenade. Immediately turn left and head aft to the elevators at the end of the promenade, then hit the button for deck 16. You'll be at the Windjammer ahead of the crowd that is still milling around lost and overwhelmed on the promenade.
